Cristiano Ronaldo is the most voted

The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is the football player most voted by the public for the team of the week, a vote is taking place on the UEFA official website. When deciding the eleven elected for the 2014 team, the Real Madrid football player is the chosen one in 84% of cases. Sérgio Ramos, the portuguese team-mate, is the second elected with most votes (80%), followed by Manuel Neuer, goalkeeper of Bayern Munich, with 64 % of the votes .

The guardian Neuer has after him Courtois ( 22%) and Buffon (8%).

In midfield, Arjen Robben ( Bayern Munich ) is the most voted athlete with 59% of votes, a list in which also appears the former FC Porto James Rodríguez (35%) and the former Benfica Angel Di Maria (46%). Ezequiel Garay (8%), another player who played in Portugal, and Diego Costa (20%) , former player of SC Braga, also contribute to the vote.

The vote only close on January, 6th and the results will be announced three days later at the UEFA event.

World Cup Brasil: Lionel Messi deserves the Golden Globe?


Maradona: Lionel Messi only won the title of World Cup's Best Player because it was a marketing plan.

The former footballer Diego Maradona held first the award of the Golden Globe for Lionel Messi in the World Cup 2014 was unfair and second the Argentine striker has only won the trophy because Lionel Messi ia a "marketing plan" of FIFA.

Maradona also mencioned that in the Argentina's squad Mascherano was the best in the Wolrl Cup and in the final Thomas Muller was the best player, running and sacrificing for his team. For Maradona the World Cup's Best Player would be James Rodrigues for everything he did: six goal, four assists and much support to his Colombia's team.

Manuel neuer passed the ball more times then Lionel Messi.

Manuel Neuer made more passes than Lionel Messi. The German goalkeeper, who received the award for the World Cup Best Goalkeeper, has made 244 passes. Lionel Messi, who also reached the final of the World Cup 2014, completed 242.
