World Cup Brazil: Cristiano Ronaldo's Injury
Tendonitis injury, the Cristiano Ronaldo's injury, is a chronic degeneration of the microfiber tendon knee, and the main challenge is to provide a fast and no sequelae recovery for the soccerplayer.
This injury is an inflammation of the tendon, which if not handled correctly it turns into something chronic after a period of time, which turns the complete rehabilitation hard to find.
The main challenge of the tendinosis is that the excessive rest, which allows the fibers of the tendon to recover, causes the quadriceps to be weaker, which in turn softens the tendon tissue and makes the athlete start from zero.
At the same time, if the recovery treatments are very aggressive, the player risks a faster degeneration of the tendon microfibers and delay of the rehabilitation.
It is possible that Ronaldo may be available to play in the first game of World Cup, in which Portugal plays against Germany on 16 June. Although it is difficult to be fully recovered from tendinosis injury there.
The FPF (Soccer Portuguese Federation) made public, for the first time, this patella injury after four medical reports that didn't notice any kind of muscle injury.
Despite the optimism shown by the FPF officials and his squad fellows, Ronaldo's injury was like a bucket of cold water in the Portugal team.
The Ronaldo's long season, who admitted having played the final of the Champions League last May 24th physically limited, worries even the Real Madrid's the leaders.
The Real Madrid's president Florentino Perez said Ronaldo should not line up while he is not healthy.
Even the coach Paulo Bento acknowledged last week that there was no date to reinstate the Portuguese Team's captain and stated that never takes risk on the players health because the human being comes first.
However, the National Portuguese Team loss is evident. Cristiano Ronaldo made 12 goals in the last ten matches, his best sequence has international player.
In Group G of the Brazil World Cup, Portugal will play against Germany on June 16th, United States June 22th and Ghana June 26th.
